Carroll has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Dothan Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carroll has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three games.
Carroll scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 74-25 victory over Barbour County. That 74-25 margin sets a new team best for Carroll this season.
Meanwhile, Dothan pushed their score all the way to 60 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Auburn by a score of 62-60.
Carroll pushed their record up to 12-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Dothan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.
Carroll came up short against Dothan in their previous meeting back in December of 2020, falling 52-43. Can Carroll avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
