If McAdory was feeling good  fresh off their  37-0 takedown of Paul W. Bryant last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets took  a  21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bessemer City Tigers on Thursday. The  game marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
Although McAdory took the loss, they still got scores from  Jacorey Gaines and  Tray Baker.
 McAdory didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Gaines and  Jakarri Hall. Gaines got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
McAdory's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Bessemer City, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McAdory will welcome Briarwood Christian  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Bessemer City, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Wenonah  at 7:00  p.m.
