Rocky Mountain found their leader in underclassman Daniel Mbadinga-nzamba, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Those eight rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Avantae Hood, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Rangeview's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Archie Weatherspoon V, who scored six points. Weatherspoon V set a new season high mark in blocks with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Allen Ervin, who scored five points along with three steals.
Rocky Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Rangeview, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
