This season hasn't been kind to the Southwestern Spartans, who are still winless after their 12th game. They fell 60-50 to Union County on Saturday.
Union County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Harris, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harris has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Union County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.
Southwestern's road trip will continue as they head out to face Waldron at 8:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Waldron focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday. As for Union County, they will be playing at home against Tri on Tuesday. Tri will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
