River Bluff has won three straight games at home, while Chapin has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Gators will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, River Bluff got the win against Irmo by a conclusive 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-15.

River Bluff can attribute much of their success to Kinley Webster, who had five aces and three digs, and Caroline Brownlee, who had four aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Webster a new career-high.
They weren't the only good servers: River Bluff was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Chapin hadn't done well against Lexington recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wildcats.
Chapin was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 18-25, 25-11, 25-16.
River Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Chapin, their win bumped their record up to 16-2-1.
Everything went River Bluff's way against Chapin in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as River Bluff made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Gators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
