Covington-Douglas entered their tilt with Waynoka on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Railroaders. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Covington-Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Waynoka, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
