While Southland College Prep didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by the EPIC Academy The Legends to the tune of 81-14 on Friday. That looming 81-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Southland College Prep yet this season.

Derrick Garth was a one-man wrecking crew for Southland College Prep as he went 7 for 8 on his way to 15 points and five steals. With that strong performance, Garth is now averaging an impressive 2.3 steals per game. Eli House was another key player, going 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points and three steals.

Southland College Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, EPIC Academy still got an impressive performance from Antwan Donley, who posted seven points.
