Poth's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Stockdale Brahmas 12-5. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Karlee Kroll made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
