The Elm Creek Buffaloes had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They secured a 55-51 W over Ravenna. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Elm Creek also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elm Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quin Oberg, who scored 19 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Oberg has scored at least a third of Elm Creek's points. Another player making a difference was Kade Sindt, who scored 11 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Elm Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Ravenna, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Elm Creek will take on Overton at TBD on Friday. As for Ravenna, they will head out on the road to challenge Centura at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
