Softball Recap: Leroy Wins Going Away Against Heyworth

LeRoy lost to Heyworth back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 12-1 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by seven runs or more this season.

LeRoy's win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Heyworth, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-12.

Looking ahead, LeRoy will square off against Lena-Winslow at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lena-Winslow will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something LeRoy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Heyworth, they will face off against Bloomington Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
