Coopersville came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Spring Lake, but Ashlynn O'Donnell wouldn't allow it. The Lakers came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from O'Donnell, who had 22 assists and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last three times she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Spring Lake and bumps their season record up to 9-15-2. As for Coopersville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15-1 record this season.

Spring Lake will head out to take on Zeeland East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coopersville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against North Muskegon on the 16th.
