Central Connecticut II West recap Oct. 30, 2012
Windsor extended the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut II West this week by beating Farmington, 34-14. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Middletown took down Bristol Central 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Windsor's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. ROBERT QUINN FLEETING threw for 220 and two touchdowns and TYNIQUE WOODS-CULVER had 50 yards receiving. On the ground DEVONTE DILLION chipped in 75 yards. DILLION helped Windsor's passing attack out by catching three balls for 45 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback FLEETING of Robert Fleeting's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1315. He has also thrown 15 touchdowns. On the ground, the Indians' Ivan Guadalupe has rushed for 650 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Anthony Carpenter. The Farmington star has 19 catches for 437 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Farmington takes on the Blue Dragons. Chris Machol's team is in third place, while Middletown is in second place.
Sal Morello's team led Central Connecticut II West in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Rams.
