In what's become a running theme this season, the Grand County Red Devils gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They breezed by Monticello at home to the tune of 59-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Grand County has posted since December 2, 2023.
Grand County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cadence Kasprick, who scored 17 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Kasprick is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Trinity Bryant, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Grand County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Monticello, they bumped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Grand County will square off against San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (San Juan is ranked 109th, while Grand County is ranked 87th). As for Monticello, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monument Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monument Valley will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
