The biggest upset of the week belonged to Calaveras, who took down 337th ranked Amador, 21-15. Mike Seawell ran for 67 yards and caught 2 passes for 57 yards during the win.
Argonaut moved up to 503 from 591 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mother Lode League. The Mustangs were able to move up by defeating Linden 40-7.
Brendan Brick provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Summerville bested Bret Harte.
Seawell was the best wideout in the league this week as the Redskins topped the Buffaloes. Seawell tallied 2 receptions for 57 yards.
The Bears' Brice Farrell and JT McCready have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Farrell has thrown for 953 yards this season, while McCready has 18 catches for 389 yards. Calaveras' Seawell leads the league in rushing yards with 692.
Two of the top units in Mother Lode League will face off this week when Summerville takes on Amador. Ben Watson's team's offense has racked up 220 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Bill Baker's team has allowed only 65 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Jason Weatherby's team takes on Argonaut. At the moment, the Redskins are in second, while Rick Davis' team is in third.
The Bears took down the Bullfrogs 49-3 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brick ran for 114 yards and caught 1 pass for 15 yards in the win.
