While Westminster's win against South Carroll wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Owls sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Cavaliers on Wednesday. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Westminster's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for South Carroll, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Westminster will look to defend their home field on Friday against North Harford at 4:30 p.m. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Owls' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Carroll, they will challenge Manchester Valley on Friday.
