The Hayfork Timberjacks had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against Tulelake on Friday as Hayfork made off with a 36-14 win. Considering Hayfork has won ten contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Hayfork's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Levi Cavalli led the charge by rushing for 95 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 40 yards and a touchdown on only two passes. Hayfork also got a significant boost from Devin Nanez, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 109 yards.
Hayfork pushed their record up to 13-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.0 points per game. As for Tulelake, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Hayfork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tulelake also has no future games currently scheduled.
