Manatee was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were the clear victors by a 43-13 margin over Jackson. The success made it back-to-back wins for Manatee.
The matchup started off well for the Hurricanes, whose offense put up 36 first-half points. Jackson countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 36-7 going into the half. The Manatee defense was impenetrable in the third quarter, shutting them out and essentially clinching the contest.
Manatee's win brought them up to 6-4. This is the second loss in a row for the Generals and nudges their record down to 3-7. Both of these squads appear to have finished up the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
