Dakota Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maryn Talyat led the charge by almost dropping a triple-double on 19 points, nine assists, and nine steals. Talyat is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Hannah Galbreath was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Lyric Ashford and Julie Jackson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Ashford scored eight points, while Jackson scored five points.
Dakota Ridge pushed their record up to 9-8 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game.
