Devan Womley and Steve Griffin certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Womley scored 13 points along with two steals, while Griffin scored 11 points along with two steals.
Westminster was led to victory by Hunter Goll and Dennis Ross. Goll dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds, while Ross scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ross has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Elias Garcia, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Far Northeast W dropped their record down to 0-17 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Westminster, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.
Far Northeast W will head out on the road to square off against the Ravens at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Denver South will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Westminster, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rangeview has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 238 points over their last three contests.
