Fort Wayne Northrop hasn't had much luck against Carroll recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bruins will welcome the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Carroll will be up against a hot Fort Wayne Northrop squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Bruins put the hurt on Fort Wayne Snider with a sharp 35-14 win on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

David Callison
10/03/25 @ Fort Wayne Snider | 335 |
09/12/25 @ Homestead | 330 |
08/22/25 @ New Haven | 295 |
08/23/24 vs New Haven | 286 |
08/29/25 vs Huntington North | 267 |
David Callison produced another solid effort throwing for 335 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt. Those 335 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Fort Wayne Northrop's leading receiver Jaxson Robinson was Callison's top target yet again, picking up 81 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Fort Wayne Northrop didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dee Hogue and Kamarii Underwood. Hogue is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least eight every time he's taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Carroll got themselves on the board against Homestead on Friday, but Homestead never followed suit. They breezed past the Spartans to the tune of 49-0. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won six in a row.
A big part of Carroll's win came down to the chemistry between Gabe Frisinger and his top target Jaidon Vanpelt. Frisinger threw for 248 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes while Vanpelt picked up 166 receiving yards and one TD. Frisinger's passing game has become a key predictor of Carroll's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise. The Chargers also got help from Mason Baughman, who showed off his sure hands for 95 receiving yards.
Carroll didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Homestead to a completion percentage of just 48%. The Chargers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 68.4%.
Carroll's defense didn't let Logan Frieden, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Evan Brubaker was the leader with two. Linkoln Grabner got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Fort Wayne Northrop's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Carroll, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Fort Wayne Northrop has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 398.6 total yards per game. However, it's not like Carroll struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 351.3 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Fort Wayne Northrop was taken down by Carroll 48-18 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Bruins, Dajaun Green (who rushed for 175 yards and one score while picking up 10.9 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
