Basketball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Central's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Central won the last time they faced W.S. Neal, and Autumn Boutwell did her part to make sure it happened again. The Central Jaguars claimed a resounding 60-26 win over the W.S. Neal Eagles thanks in part to Boutwell, who posted 24 points and seven steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2023.

Central is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for W.S. Neal, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
