East Henderson put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Smoky Mountain Mustangs 78-36. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Caiden Brewer was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 29 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was his seventh in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylin Brewer, who went 7-for-13 en route to 17 points.
East Henderson was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Smoky Mountain only racked up nine assists.
Despite the loss, Smoky Mountain saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ace Prenger posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Shane Buchanan, who scored seven points.
