Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Point Loma walked away with it. They beat the San Dimas Saints on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Pointers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Point Loma got a great performance from Landon Moore as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. What's more, Moore posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Michael Hall, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Reddeg, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Point Loma's victory bumped their record up to 22-12-1. As for San Dimas, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-12.
