Fans got a thrill when Carlevon Manuel and Kenneth Paterson, connected against Pacific. The connection was good for 78 yards, the longest such play in Sunbelt this season.
Perris moved up to 847 from 876 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers were able to make move up by topping the Pirates 24-20.
Perris' dynamic duo of Manuel and Paterson, proved to be unstoppable against Pacific, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Manuel threw for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns and Paterson, had 219 yards receiving.
Howard Boyd's team's dynamic duo of Manuel and Paterson, proved tough for Don Markham's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Paterson, had a great week catching the football as the Panthers topped the Pirates.
Paterson, was the best wideout in the league this week as Perris defeated Pacific.
Demarco Prewitt was the most successful running back in Sunbelt this week. In 19 carries, he ran for 226 yards as Paloma Valley topped the Pirates. Teammate Elliott Smith added to the ground attack by rushing for 55 yards.
Prewitt was a beast in the backfield as the Wildcats defeated West Valley.
Manuel put up the best numbers through the air as Perris bested Pacific.
Prewitt was a passing and rushing force as Paloma Valley bested the Mustangs. Prewitt's key target this week was Smith, who caught 3 passes for 70 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Brent Boehm and Prewitt, Bert Esposito's team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Boehm leads the league in passing with 520 yards, while Prewitt has rushed for 461 yards this season. The Panthers' Paterson, leads the league in receiving yards with 249 on 6 catches.
The Wildcats took down West Valley 56-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Boehm threw for 174 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 42 yards during the win.
