Basketball Recap: Marlington Wins Going Away Against Frontier

On Friday, the Marlington Dukes didn't have too much trouble with the Frontier Cougars as they won 48-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dukes.

When it comes to explaining why Frontier lost, don't look at True King. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. King is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Austyn Kole Kephart, who posted six points and four steals.

Marlington's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Frontier, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2.

Marlington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-46 win against Harrison Central on the 28th. As for Frontier, they will head out to challenge Bridgeport at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Frontier is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.
