Fort Worth THESA (Fort Worth, Texas) received a huge boost from its defense against Wise County Christian HomeSchool (Decatur, Texas), as the unit scored 18 in defeating Wise County Christian HomeSchool (Decatur, Texas), 66-18.
After taking the lead on a two-point conversion in the first quarter, the Riders led 60-18 at the half.
Fort Worth THESA grew its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. FWT's lone score in the quarter came on a two-point conversion.
A 36-point second quarter helped the Fort Worth school secure the big victory. The Riders scored on a touchdown run by
Jacob Woolley, a defensive touchdown, a
Jack Drechsler touchdown pass to
Darian Jackson, a defensive touchdown and a defensive touchdown in the quarter.
Fort Worth THESA's most effective player was Drechsler. The freshman quarterback threw two touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
The loss comes after Wise County Christian HomeSchool defeated Newman International Academy 52-12 last week.
