Ensworth (Nashville, Tenn.) snapped the four-game winning streak of Giles County (Pulaski, Tenn.), with a 48-7 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Tigers led 34-7 at the half.
Ensworth expanded its lead to 41 points entering the fourth quarter. EHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Rico McGraw touchdown run.
McGraw and
Donovan Sheffield ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Bobcats. McGraw scored two touchdowns on the ground and Sheffield added two as well.
Estes was the top performer for the Nashville school. He kicked six extra points. He has now scored two touchdowns on the season.
Giles County's lone touchdown came on a 73-yard pass from Trevor Holder to Cameron Ordway in the second quarter.
The Tigers had given up an average of 14.0 points prior to the contest. Giles County's seven points were well below its season average of 30.0 per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Giles County, which notched a 46-21 victory over Page in its previous outing.
