After only seven points in their last matchup, The Manchester Red Hawks made sure to put some points up on the board against the Bristol Central Rams on Friday. Manchester claimed a resounding 42-13 victory over Bristol Central at home. That's another feather in the cap for Manchester, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Manchester's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nasir White, who rushed for 21 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 75 receiving yards. Emanuel Sampel was another key contributor, throwing for 167 yards and three touchdowns.
Although Bristol Central took the loss, they still got scores from Jayden Glasper and Donovan Rodriguez.
Manchester's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Bristol Central, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester will stay at home for another week and welcome Berlin at 6:00 p.m. on October 27th. Berlin will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
