The Lakes Lancers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 41-23 win over Central Kitsap. Lakes pushed the score to 41-10 by the end of the third, a deficit Central Kitsap cut but never quite recovered from.
Lakes can attribute much of their success to Elijiah McChristian, who picked up 143 receiving yards and three touchdowns. McChristian's longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Exavier Mcchristian, who threw for 195 yards and four touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
Lakes' win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Central Kitsap, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central Kitsap also has no future games currently scheduled.
