Basketball Recap: Jonas Sosa Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph, Freedom Prep Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Marauders with a sharp 55-35 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Freedom Prep Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jonas Sosa, who posted 27 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Sosa a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Manuel Aguilera Hernandez, who put up 13 points and eight steals.

Despite the defeat, Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams saw an underclassman step up: sophomore William Sandoval dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Kai Jacobs was another key player, putting up four points.
