The American History Bald Eagles can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They snuck past Golda Och Academy with a 41-37 win. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points American History has scored all year.
American History's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ah'Zeah Woodard led the charge by scoring nine points along with five steals. Edgar De Los Santos was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
American History now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Golda Och Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
American History's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hoboken at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Golda Och Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Weequahic at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Weequahic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Sunday.
