Iowa barely beat DeRidder the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Dragons on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Iowa's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-13. As for DeRidder, their loss dropped their record down to 15-17.

Iowa will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dragons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
