Meanwhile, Hillgrove got themselves on the board against McIntosh on Friday, but McIntosh never followed suit. They blew past the Chiefs, posting a 38-0 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.
Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hillgrove, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.
