When it comes to explaining why Keswick Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cooper Craig. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Craig has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ian Richardson, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Keswick Christian were working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
American Collegiate Academy found their leader in underclassman Marcus Green, who dropped a double-double on 42 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Townsend, who scored 11 points along with four steals and two blocks.
Keswick Christian dropped their record down to 4-12 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home. As for American Collegiate Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keswick Christian will face off against Indian Rocks Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Collegiate Academy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Bayshore Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Allowing an average of 52.9 points per game, Bayshore Christian has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this matchup.
