After only one run in their last game, Shiprock made sure to put some runs up on the board against Tuba City on Tuesday. The Chieftains blew past the Warriors 16-4. The Chieftains' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Taleah Phillips made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
