Meanwhile, Hoggard entered their tilt with Ashley on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Screaming Eagle by a score of 35-27.
The victory made it two in a row for Topsail and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Hoggard, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.
