Volleyball Recap: Johnson's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Johnson won the last time they faced Beach and things went their way on Thursday too. The Atomsmashers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Atomsmashers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Johnson easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.

Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Beach, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Johnson will take on rival Jenkins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Beach is set to challenge their familiar foe Long County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
