Football Recap: Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Triumphs

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) got themselves on the board against Archbishop Carroll on Thursday, but Archbishop Carroll never followed suit. They took down the Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs 14-0. The victory continues a trend for the Stallions in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Shaireen Sosa was the offensive standout of the game as she picked up 87 receiving yards and one touchdown. An impressive showing, but she really ramped things up playing D: she picked up two sacks and made five total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Angelina Piloto and Vanessa Flores.
