The Houston Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 66-26 loss at the hands of Norwood. Houston has not had much luck with Norwood recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Leading Norwood to victory were Noah Drake and Cooper Vaughan. Drake scored 13 points along with four steals, while Vaughan scored 17 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton McDaris, who scored six points along with six assists and three steals.
Houston dropped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Norwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
Houston won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Liberty presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Houston in Missouri (Liberty is ranked 135th, while Houston is ranked 485th). As for Norwood, they will be playing at home against Sparta at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Norwood is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
