The result came thanks to Gabbi Scott's shutout, as she gave up just four hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Eva Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Hagerty had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Grenadiers as they made off with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
Ella Verne looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Ana Roman and Alexandra Beldowicz did most of the damage at the plate: Roman went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Beldowicz went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Beldowicz has posted since back in March. Hannah Hargrave was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Hagerty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .682. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Timber Creek's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Hagerty, their win bumped their record up to 19-6.
Timber Creek couldn't quite get it done against Hagerty when the teams last played back in February as they fell 8-4. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
