Eldorado and Christoval are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Christoval will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Eldorado extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Eagles put the hurt on Colorado with a sharp 19-9 win. Considering the Eagles have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Brindon Gamez, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times he's played. Jonnie Adame was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Eldorado always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .556 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Christoval, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Sonora on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-run performance the game before.
Hollis Boyer looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
Eldorado's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Christoval, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-1.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Eldorado has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .514. However, it's not like Christoval struggles in that department as they've averaged .478. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Eldorado couldn't quite get it done against Christoval in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 14-9. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
