Prosser hasn't had much luck against East Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Devils at 3:30 p.m. Prosser has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Prosser came up short against Ellensburg on Saturday, falling 15-4. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly 11 runs.
Kaitlin Anderson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Salinas, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, East Valley entered their tilt with Quincy on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Jackrabbits a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Red Devils have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Presley Weatherley made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, East Valley got a massive performance out of Sophiya Castaneda, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Elise Heater, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.

Prosser's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for East Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Prosser has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .443. However, it's not like East Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .553. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
