The Reno Huskies were the 21-3 winner over the McQueen Lancers when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. Reno received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 21-6 to McQueen.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McQueen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carl "Tre" LaGrone III, who rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 44 yards and a touchdown. Nason Rodriguez was another key contributor, rushing for 101 yards on only ten carries.
Reno has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for McQueen, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-7.
Reno does not have any more games scheduled as of now. McQueen will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Manogue at 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Bishop Manogue has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 297 points over their last seven games.
