School of the Woods' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kieran Knight, who scored 14 points, and Tyler Gwinn who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was Knight's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Adam Zagaar was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
School of the Woods bumped their record down to 3-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Beta Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
School of the Woods will be playing in front of their home fans against Banff at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Beta Academy is on the road again on Thursday and play against Texas Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. Texas Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Beta Academy likes a good challenge.
