The Chatham Charter Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Woods Charter 77-38 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Chatham Charter who now have 12 in a row.
Chatham Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Headen, who scored 31 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Meah Brooks, who scored 21 points.
Chatham Charter pushed their record up to 17-1 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points per game. As for Woods Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Chatham Charter will be playing at home against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Triangle Math & Science is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Woods Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against the Guardians at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
