Even though the Bellows Falls Terriers scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, the Brattleboro Bears still came out on top. Brattleboro managed a 61-56 win over Bellows Falls.
It was another big night for Johnathon Haskins, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Keagan Systo was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Brattleboro's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Bellows Falls, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Brattleboro will be playing in front of their home fans against Rutland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brattleboro has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Bellows Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Hartford's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Bellows Falls has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
