Carson Kirby Goes Supernova in Bixby Win
Starting off the list is Bixby's Carson Kirby, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kirby threw for 231 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 67 yards.
Bixby's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Kirby will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Enid on Thursday.

Malikai Miller Turns in Season-Best Effort
Moore came up short on Friday despite Malikai Miller delivering his best game to date. Miller rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 185 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Miller might just drop another big game when he faces off against Norman on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Miller saw the Tigers), he rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

Murphy Came Up Big in Norman's 49-7 Victory
Norman found a leader in Phoenix Murphy as the squad took down Enid on Thursday. Murphy was dynamite, throwing for 288 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Norman pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers takes on Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Braeden Presley Delivers Best Effort of Season
Braeden Presley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bixby to the win on Friday. Presley rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 66 yards.
On the season, Presley has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 9.3 receiving yards per game.
