It was a good run, but Edgewood unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 15-5 to the Grand Saline Indians. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Indians since Tuesday.

Edgewood's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 16-9. As for Grand Saline, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-2 record this season.

While Edgewood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
