While it was all tied up 17-17 at halftime, Southridge was not quite Princeton's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Princeton Tigers by a score of 31-28. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Princeton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Demarcus Newson, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Edwin Holmes, who had seven points and seven boards.

Southridge's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-2. As for Princeton, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Southridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-52 win against Tecumseh on the 20th. As for Princeton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 50-42 victory against Washington on the 24th.
