The biggest upset of the week belonged to Guntersville, who took down 194th ranked Guntersville, 20-14.
Douglas moved up to 222 from 254 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region 6. The Eagles were able to make move up by defeating the Wildcats 20-14.
Locust Fork's Geoffrey Bramblett and Clay Smith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Bramblett has thrown for 2212 yards this season, while Smith has 46 catches for 910 yards. Sardis's Toby Pee leads the league in rushing yards with 1524.
Entering into this week's contest against West Point, Luke Bailey is short just 157 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season. Accruing a total of 15 touchdowns this year, Bailey has thrown for 1843 yards with six interceptions.
The Hornets' Smith is a few successful plays short of surpassing 1,000 yards receiving this season. He needs only 90 receiving yards against Cleveland to hit that benchmark.
Oneonta extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Lions, 49-0. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
